Brisbane
Welcome to Brisbane, Australia – a vibrant river city that blends a relaxed outdoor lifestyle with world-class facilities and a strong focus on innovation. Brisbane is an increasingly popular choice for business events and leisure, offering excellent venues, a subtropical climate, easy access, and a reputation for safety and warm hospitality.
Getting here is simple: Brisbane Airport offers regular direct international and domestic flights and is just 20 minutes from the city centre via the convenient Airtrain. Once in the city, it’s easy to get around on foot or by public transport, including free CityHopper ferries and a well-connected network of buses and trains.
Brisbane’s cultural and lifestyle precincts set the tone for a memorable stay. The South Bank Parklands feature riverside parkland, the man-made Streets Beach, dining, and the Queensland Cultural Centre (GOMA, QPAC, Queensland Museum and more). Brisbane is also the gateway to some of Australia’s most iconic experiences, from the pristine beaches of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts to the lush hinterland rainforests and the world’s largest sand islands.
The city’s reputation for outdoor living and dining continues to grow. From riverside restaurants at Howard Smith Wharves to bustling farmers’ markets and rooftop bars, Brisbane offers a diverse and innovative food scene.
A dynamic calendar of events runs year-round, including the Brisbane Festival, Riverfire, international sport, and music. Brisbane’s combination of modern infrastructure, compact layout, and quintessentially Australian experiences make it an exceptional host city for conferences and events.
